My name is Ana Isip but my closest friends call me Banani. I am a mother of 3, a loving wife and a breastfeeding advocate. I am also a makeup artist by profession. My love for art was developed at a very young age. Painting has always been my tool to get over depression and anxiety. It has allowed me to express my emotions through creativity. My art is a celebration of life. My work exudes finesse in my choices of colors and the curves of each brush stroke. My style of work is that of Surrealism and Impressionism. I take on reality and turn it into a colorful world of my own. As an artist I believe that vibrant colors turn the home into a happy one. My inspiration has always been God’s wonderful creations, family and motherhood. I am also a very proud Filipino and I try to show the culture, traditions and the beauty of the Philippines in my work.
I have had the privilege of partcipating in various ART EXHIBITS, namely:
1.) Likha Diwa in UP Diliman Campus (group exhibit) in 2012
2.) 2 Woman Show “CHROMA” at The San Beda Alabang Museum in 2013
