About

Ana is a mother of 3, a loving wife, a painter and a breastfeeding advocate. She has been a makeup artist since 2007. Her passion for makeup landed her a job in Estee Lauder as brand coordinator in 2007. She eventually became the brand’s Education Manager (trainer) in 2008. Under the brand, she has undergone various trainings like Estee Lauder’s Discovery, Spring and Fall Training. Realizing that she wanted to do makeup on a freelance basis, she left the brand in 2009, and many projects came her way after.

She has done makeup for magazines, fashion shows,TV commercials and play productions . She has also done a couple of TV guestings , sharing professional tips in traditional and airbrush makeup application. Aside from these, Ana also conducts makeup workshops and one-on-one makeup tutorials.

She has found her niche in beauty makeup and has been doing makeup for weddings and debuts ever since. When asked about Ana’s work, her clients would always say how she brought out the beauty in them without altering their natural features. Ana has a certain charm that makes her brides and clients fall for her right away. She makes them feel beautiful and confident once she has done her magic on them. Ana makes sure that her clients are stress-free and relaxed once they sit on her makeup chair. She has a way of calming people down especially brides who are worried about so much during their big day. This is what separates her from the rest. She is not only a makeup artist, she also turns out to be a good friend.

FAQs

1.) Where is your studio located?

I do makeup either in Alabang (Ayala Alabang) or Sta Rosa Laguna (Nuvali area)

2.) Do you do home/hotel service?
I do accept home/hotel service with an additional fee starting at
P1,000 depending on the location

3.) Do you offer packages for regular makeup (NOT bridal)?Yes I do give discounted packages for a group of 5 or more.

4.) What is the difference between AIRBRUSH and TRADITIONAL makeup?
Airbrush and Traditional makeup actually  produce the same look/finish.
The difference though is that airbrush is more lightweight. The person wearing the airbrush makeup would feel the difference. Airbrush is also thinly applied using an airbrush compressor and gun therefore it is
best for sensitive skin since it minimizes the use of brushes and sponges
to blend the base (foundation, contour, blush, etc.) and this is the reason why Airbrush is more expensive because of the equipment and it's maintenance. Airbrush is also waterproof, smudge proof and transfer
proof so airbrush makeup is more ideal for long-wearing although traditional makeup can last just as long as high quality
products are used (foundation, primer, setting spray, etc).
So it's really up to you what you prefer.

5.) Is the groom included in the Bridal Package?

Yes the groom is included in the bridal package
as long as he is in the same hotel/venue as the bride.

6.) Do you offer personal and advance makeup lessons/ workshops?

Yes I do one-on-one or group makeup workshops. It's a 4 to 5hour workshop. I also do workshops for bigger groups (classroom type) so feel free toget in touch with me and fill out my contact page for any other inquiries.

7.)Do you provide makeup and brushes in your workshops?
I provide makeup and brushes that my students can use but I also encourage them to bring their own makeup and brushes so I can teach them how to use it. No need to buy new products just whatever they have. From there, we can see what needs to be added to their kits.

8)What happens in the Makeup Workshop?
BASIC:
Introduction to skincare, Day to Night makeup transition (Smokey  eyes)

ADVANCE: Makeup Products Overview, Contouring & Highligh, Eyeshadow on different types of eye sizes and
shapes (handouts provided)
*** for both BASIC and ADVANCE I start by talking about all the steps. During this time I encourage my students to take down notes so they can remember what they've learned. If it's a big group I normally get a volunteer and do a step by step demo on her. I then end the demo with Q&A. When all questions have been answered, I then let my students try applying makeup on themselves

COMPREHENSIVE: This is a 4 day intensive makeup workshop.
Scope -Basic, Advance, Period Makeup, Bridal Makeup
and Fashion/Avant Garde Makeup
***I start with a demo and discussion of the hand-out (which I will provide) for each day of the 4day course. I nomally recommend a schedule of once a week per session and make my students  email me at least 3 photos of before and afters before the next session. Here I can
assess the progress of my student and comment on his/her work and they get to practice the whole week before their next session.
